Anniversary
It's fun to be newlyweds because we still get to count everything in weeks and months. That means that it is officially wonderful to announce that John and Kate has now been established for a whole 2 months ! Woohoo!
Not much is new in our lives, but here is a small update:
We have had cold water for about 3 weeks, moving onto our fourth and we don't have very warm feelings about it.....get it? Warm. Cause we're freezing!
John won an NBA championship the other day. He is currently on his 5th/82nd game on the PS3. It has become his new friend while Kate tries to get all of her homework finished that she let pile up for the past 3 weeks....Maybe she can blame it on the water?
Our coed basketball team is still undefeated (minus a tie that we don't really want to talk about)! We have another game this Friday!! Go "O Canada"! John's 3 on 3 team starts this Wednesday as well. Lots of ball for Team O'Farrell. We are stoked.
Kate made a pork roast and funeral potato and broccoli dinner for Mistified (lil' sister) and John. It was almost completely a success, which was very exciting for Kate.
We rearranged the kitchen to fit an amazing microwave wedding present from the Egan's. So far the arrangement is working out and the microwave could probably fit a human inside of it, or at least a midget. Not that we would want to cook either. We also rearranged the bedroom to keep the bed away from the little corner that has a slight smell when the weather is wet. (We also don't really want to talk about that one.)
Well, we are loving life and marriage. School, not so much. Thanks for stopping by! Maybe next time we will have pictures....

Visit from Mama-O, General Conference
This past weekend John's mom flew out for a visit. During her stay we went to get yummy food @ Panda Express and up the canyon to show here some of Provo. We were able to schedule a tour of BYU and UVU for both John's sister Melissa and Mary Ann. They were happy to see the campus and get free tee shirts. Wahoo! Throughout the weekend we were able to attend a two sessions of General conference in Salt Lake City. Sunday morning while John was translating in the Conference Center, Mary Ann, Melissa and I went to the the beautiful Tabernacle at Temple Square to watch the Sunday AM session. Afterwards when we were eating Melissa began talking to a very nice lady whom offered her 3 tickets to the PM session! She accepted and we were able to watch the last session live.
