2 months!!

Our little Afton celebrated her 2-month birthday on October 9th! We can't believe she is already so grown up. We have had a blast getting to know our little rascal. Her personality is starting to show so much and we are loving it.

For being such a smiley girl, she was not having it during our little photo shoot. Wahoo for 2 months!

Photobombed! Bear stole the show for bit.

Here are some of our baby girl's stats:

Age: 2 months (we've covered that...)
Weight: 10 lbs. 7.5 oz. (27% - itty bitty lady)
Length: 22.4 inches (46%)
Head circumference: 38.8 cm (67% - down from 95% when she was born)

Skills:
- Holds her head up like she was born for it
- Gives us so many smiles
- Started drinking from a bottle (still working on liking it)
- Kicks her legs like that one soccer player - you know the one
- Sleeps in her own bed! (she even had a 7 hour sleep a couple times!)

Our little lady is seriously the cutest. Here is a little more cuteness that has happened in her second month on this lovely Earth of ours:

Supporting Daddy at his big race! One day she will be carrying her own medal. :)

We love when Daddy comes home for lunch for snuggles and snacks.

Grandma O came for a visit!

She loves her little giraffe safari canopy. Her favourites are a musical rhino, the crunchy giraffe, the rattling crocodile, and the squeaky bird on the mat. As you can see, she is pretty fascinated by it all.

Bath time! She is such a fan. We have officially created a bedtime routine - including bath time, eating, reading, songs, and snuggles. She goes to bed so well these days and we are so happy! Now we would like to have her just sleep a bit longer. Our rascal is hungry though, so we are just fine with it.

They love playing together. They are both interested in the same things. Eat. Sleep. Poop. Toys. It's a great relationship.

She loves her cute little crib. Now when I come get her in the morning (usually around 7 AM) she smiles and kicks her little legs like crazy. She is such a happy girl! It is the best start to a great morning.

She loves sleeping!

She is basically the cutest sleeper, too! We have caught her laughing in her sleep a couple of times and she smiles all the time.

She loves her bedtime stories - this one is teaching her to say "Dada" first. Thanks Jimmy Fallon!

What a goof ball!

Smiles!

She loves her little tongue. She plays with it all day and has figured out recently that she can roll it. It is so fun to see her fascinated with the simplest things. It helps us to remember to stay curious about the simple things in life.

That lip! It may not be the easiest thing when she is really unhappy, but her little sad face when she has a little sadness is so cute. She doesn't cry much and calms down so quickly. We feel so lucky! (Knock on wood...)

We love our Afton girl and we can't wait to see what the next month of adventures brings us! Thanks for being our little rascal baby girl!
